Circa: 1962 Manufacturer: Watt Pottery
This item is a wonderful Number 16 Tulip Pitcher made by Watt Pottery around 1962. This Pitcher has lovely hand painted blue and red tulips on it. The Pitcher is about 6 and 5/8 inches high at the top of the spout; 7 inches across from end of handle to tip of spout; and 5 and 1/2 inches across its bulbous idsection. The bottom is marked 16 and U.S.A. inside a double circle. This Pitcher is in very good to excellent condition. There are no cracks or crazing, but there is a small flea bite chip on the spout and also a small bubble on the spout which appears to be a kiln pop resulting from the original firing process whenn it was made. |
