Bakewell Block is an attractive pattern produced by Bakewell & Pears Glass Co. circa the 1850's. The pattern is distinquished by rows of blocks topped with a row of thumbprints. The clarity of this flint glass goblet is excellent and the goblet rings like a bell. The goblet measures 6 1/4" high and 3 5/8" wide at the top of the mouth.
The goblet is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or discolorations. There are a few surface scratches from use.
