This rare footed compote was produced by John & William Ridgway circa 1814 - 1830 in a striking floral pattern called Japan Opaque. This magnificent piece features beautiful figural handles of a flower with leaves. The multi color floral pattern is carried throughout the piece. A wonderful piece that has survived at least 170 + years!
The compote measures 12" long handle to handle, 8.75" wide and 4.75" high.
In amazing condition for it's age, there is some crazing in the glaze and a small area of light stain, insignificant and not very noticeable. A true antique treasure!
