Circa: 1930's - 40's Condition: VG Color: Chrome Country of Origin: United States Manufacturer: Hamilton Products
A very nice art deco piece from the 1930s - 40's, made by Hamilton Products. It was originally an ashtray but could easily be used as a change tray. It does show some wear from use over the years, but is still a fabulous piece. It is made of chrome and features two elephants in the center, with space in between for holding matches. The elephants' trunks are up to hold lit cigarettes. It measures approx. 4.5" in diameter and stands 2" high. The bottom is marked, "A Hamilton Product - NYC. Made in USA," and has several patent numbers on the bottom. This piece would also be great as a political piece.
