Individual Globe Ashtray, Atomic Style, Chrome Finish. This very funky chrome finish ashtray is shaped like a globe with a pull-down tray for your cigarette to rest in. When you're done, you can flip the lid back up and your cigarette and its ashes will fall into the bottom of the globe. The ashtray is 4.75" tall and about 4" across. Found in diners in the 40s and 50s, as well as at my aunt's bridge parties, these Atomic Era ashtrays have become collector's items for their novel shape as well as their usefulness. Totally cool!
