Old CAPRI Compact,Mirror,Square,Fancy
Old,square, brass or goldplated accents, with fancy leather topped compact by CAPRI from the late 1940s. There is like a clutch type closure in the front, where you pull the 2 pieces of metal apart to open. Closes nicely and secure. The outside of this compact has a leather top to it. On the bottom it is plain black. On the top the leather has a wonderful art deco design embossed in white,gold,silver,and black. Mirror is square and in perfect condition.(In one of the photos it looks like there is a crack in the mirror, but it is just a reflection.) There is no powder inside, but a pull up screen in excellent condition. Underneath the screen it has a cardboard style insert that has CAPRI printed on it. Overall, this compact is in excellent condition except for some wear on the finish on the metal on each corner of the front. More discoloration on the right back corner. This could probably be buffed if it bothered you,but does show that it is from the '40s. Hinged. Measures about 3 1/8 x 2 7/8 inches x almost 3/4 inch high. 1950s Volupte Compact,Blk,R/Ss,Gorgeous!
Unbelievable beautiful deluxe 1950s compact by Voupte, USA. Looks like black enamel on top and bottom separated by rich brass and a beautiful rhinestone decoration at locking closure. Push button lock. Long rectangular mirror on one side.
Brass compartments with locks on opposite side for powder(w/puff), lipstick, and blush. Not much of the cosmetics left except for a beautiful bright pink blush. Compact is in very good condition. There are a couple things I need to mention as far as condition. There is a small ding on the bottom of the compact, there are slight surface scratches, 2 hinges on the back are silver(I am not sure if they are original or not), does have a nice pattinae to it,which I will not clean. Also, inside compartment of powder, if there was a lock it is no longer there. Locking other compartments work fine,mirror is perfect,main locking mechanism is very secure. Measures 1/2h x 1 1/2wx 4 inches in length.

RARE GILT SILVER ENAMEL COMPACT PAINTING LG
GILT SILVER ENAMEL COMPACT PAINTING SCENE LARGE 1920s This is absolutely the best gilt silver and enamel compact from the 1920s I have ever seen. The workmanship is exquisite. The enamelling is likened to that of a master painter. There is so much going on, the colors and detail are magnificent. The photos do not do this piece justice. The enamelling is crisp,not blurry whatsoever. It was hard to carry the crispness of the enamelling over from the camera I was using (pixels?).The shape of the compact itself is unique in a shell or scalloped shape. The hinge works perfectly. The compact opens and closes easily and securely. There is etching all over this piece. The inside is gilt. There is a beautiful bevelled mirror matching the shape of the compact inside in pristine condition. There is also a pink screen with a velvet tab and border. This has never been used,just saved like a treasure. There are 2 marks on the inside. One is 800(for the silver content). The other mark I have taken a photo of but cannot make out what it is exactly. I have read that the mark could point to Italy,France or Austria. This whole compact is in perfect condition. No repairs or damage whatsoever. Measures 3 1/2 inches x 3 1/2 inches x 3/8 inch height. The enamelling is pleasing scene of a woman and her lover feeding her while by the river and a black and white dot at their feet. There are also sheep laying and grazing around. A young boy wearing a hat. Some kind of hand coming out of what looks like hay next to him?? An old tree with a woman holding a child in it while water is gushing into a vat. The whole scene looks like a landscape and portrait painting with a touch of surrealism thrown in. The blue enamelling on the outside of the main enamelling is touched here and there with tiny little flowers. This so reminds me of a certain painting,but I cannot place it. I have not polished this piece. It has a beautiful pattinae on the outside. Truly this looks like it is one of a kind. A true work of art. Estee Lauder Perfume Compact Coiled Rope Turq
This is a beautiful Estee Lauder Solid Perfume Compact of Youth Dew. I have half of the box,I do not know what happened to the other half. The compact dates to 1968,Coiled Rope with a faux turquoise cabochon in the center. Measures 1 1/2 inches in diameter and about 7/8 inch high with cabochon. Has original gold signature label on back. Also box has gold signature lettering. Excellent condition. Very slight if any use of perfume. Smells great! Very nice collectible! Shipping is $6.50 for priority,insured.

Stunning Stratton Compact Lg Never Used Deco
This is one of the nicest compacts I have ever had. I do not know who did the illustration for it, but it is like no other. Vibrant colors like a painting of florals come through on a black background. Made by Stratton with a Patent No. 764125. Inside is immaculate. Never used. No powder. Measures about 3 1/4 inches in diameter. Lock on outside and inside work perfectly. Marked on the base, STRATTON, ENGLAND. There is a little sticker residue on the base. Excellent condition. Some very slight surface scratches on base. No chips,cracks,etc. Shipping is $6.95 for priority,insured. This is a beaut!

Zell Vintage Compact,Square,Blk,Brass,USA
1950s compact by Zell, USA. Looks like black enamel on top and brass every else. Push button lock. Square mirror on one side with beveled edge. Powder screen, square powder puff with Zell in gold in center. Remnants of powder. Store price tag label partially on mirror on upper left.
Compact is in very good condition. There is one thing notable about the compact and that is there must have been a centerpiece on the top of the black enamel which is no longer there. You can see the spot where it was in the photo. You could easily put something in its place. I am not sure what was there b4. Does have a ding on the bottom. Surface scratches on black enamel and bottom. It is marked on the bottom in the brass, Z, USA. Mirror is perfect,locking mechanism is very secure and works perfectly and same with the hinge mechanism. Measures 3/8 inch x 3 1/4 inches x 3 1/4 inches.

Mirror in Case,Round,Old,2 sided,Silk/Satin
This is an old mirror in a silk or satin covered sleeve,stitching on left and right. There are the initials in script MM on the front. The color of the sleeve is bronze with a darker contrasting color for the Ms. The mirror looks like 2 round mirrors put back to back. One is very good condition, the other is still usable but does have some crazing and discoloration. Mirror measures 2 1/4 inch diameter. Case measures 2 x 2 3/4 inches. The case or sleeve looks old. Silvaray Vintage Compact,Round,Blk,1930s
1930s double compact by SILVARAY. Looks like black enamel on top and bottom. Silver accents inside and out. Push button lock. Opens up to double compact, powder screen on one side with SILVARAY on the banner. The other side has a hinged door which doubles as a mirror and opens up to a small powder screen, which has some blush powder residue left. Compact is in very good condition. There are some dings and a couple of dents(on the bottom) on the outside and wear to the enamel. Not uncommon being it is from the 1930s. Has some cream design on outside of the top of the compact near one edge. Surface scratches on black enamel and bottom. Locking mechanisms are very secure and work perfectly and same with the hinge mechanism. Measures a little over 3 1/4 inches in diameter.
