Cover is bright, uncreased or chipped and features a guy coming down the stairs into the dungeon to some awaiting ghouls - freaky! Stories included are: 'The Man Who Died Tomorrow', a real neat one 'Lair of the Silken Doom' by Lou Cameron, 'Mine Own Executioner' and 'Keeper of the Flames'. Published by ACE (A. A. Wyn) in July of 1954. Beautiful rich bright colors - only fault we could find was a slight moisture touch to the bottom corner of back cover, can be slightly seen on verso, but does NOT affect interior of book - as in, it doesn't go through to pages. Chamber of CHILLS 23 pre-code Harvey Horror Yikes! Talk about your scary/bad romances! This is a pretty decent UNRESTORED (as are ALL of the comics we offer) VERY GOOD PLUS copy of CHAMBER OF CHILLS #23 published by Harvey Comics in 1954 - MUST SEE PICS! Features a Bob Powell cover and the stories 'Heartline' (horror transplant), 'Invasion' (sci-fi/mental hospital), 'The Museum' and 'Dust Unto Dust'. Light rubs to spine, but no spine splits - there are some teeny tiny nips/miniscule chip to edges (look at top edge of front cover, chip to fore-edge - small), otherwise the colors are bright - HIGH gloss (most of our books look to have been read gingerly and handled carefully - we are only the second owner of these books & got them directly out of a well-cared for collection!) and any faults are minor (e-mail me for pics) - this is overall a really nice copy! MARVEL TALES 125 Atlas 1954 VG HORROR This horror/sci-fi VINTAGE July 1954 comic is MARVEL TALES published by Atlas - Marvel Tales and is in VERY GOOD PLUS condition if not a little better - MUST SEE PICS! Unslabbed, which will allow us to give better details about the condition - this old ten cent comic includes the stories 'The Monster's Prowl', 'The Dictator', 'The Unwanted' (sci-fi) by Bill Walton, 'The Horror House' and 'Murder'. Features a wonderfully creepy cover by John Forte of bony white hands opening up a door to a horrified onlooker - awesome! Looks to be a touch of moisture to bottom outside corner, but only shows faintly on backside/verso of covers and does NOT affect book. Men's ADVENTURES 26 Atlas Golden Age HORROR LAST all horror format book before becoming pre-Marvel Captain America, Human Torch and Sub-Mariner - MEN'S ADVENTURES #26 which is in splendid shape - MUST SEE PICS! One of the best books in the collection these came from, the book lies flat, has nicely centered, oxidation free TIGHT staples and retains its original GLOSS - UNRESTORED - uncreased - this book is in FINE if not VERY FINE condition, you won't be disappointed with this book - L@@K at pics! Sub-Mariner 34 June1954 bondage cvr VG-F This is a VINTAGE ten cent Golden Age comic - SUB-MARINER #34 featuring a blond tied-up in a red scaly two-piece suit and Sub-mariner taking on some Soviet submariners - MUST SEE PICS! Pre-code comic, published by Atlas - Comic Combine Corp. in June 1954 and is in VERY GOOD PLUS approaching FINE condition - colors are still brilliant and there only seem to be a few teeny-tiny 1/16th inch or less tears to top of front panel & small rub @ bottom - none distracting and lies flat. NO creases, fades or oxidation to staples. Any rubs are slight & hard to pick up on - (see last pic). Unslabbed, but subsequently you also get to see the book INSIDE, close-up and I'll be more than happy to provide you with any more hi-rez photographs you may need of this classic super-hero book to judge for yourself how nice it is - far better condition than commonly found and a good copy for the discriminating collector. MENACE #10 Atlas Pre-Code 1954 HORROR This is a VERY GOOD copy of MENACE #10 published by Atlas in 1954 - MUST SEE PICS! Wonderful horror genre comic that is pre-code and toward the dusk of the GOLDEN AGE of comics - TALES TO HOLD YO IN AN ICY GRIP OF TERROR! Stories include 'Half Man, Half...?' (Robert Q. Sale), 'The Haunted Lake' (no illus.), 'The Night Crawlers' (Di Preta), 'The Fake', 'The Plotters' (nuclear war blast), 'The Cardboard Box' (Joe Sinnott). Features a Russ Heath cover related to the monster story 'Half-Man, Half-?'. About VERY GOOD condition - VERY GOOD MINUS with a slight dampstain to back cover and show up slightly on the verso of the cover, but on back doesn't go past a page (in terms of altering tone) and not past front cover. There's a very slight wave that would most likely press flat - have not monkeyed with these books and all come to you UNRESTORED! The original gloss is present front & back - looks practically new as you turn it in the light, but it's far from it - L@@k at pics! MARVEL TALES 123 1954 Vampires VG++ This classic horror comic is in VERY GOOD condition - MUST SEE PICS! Dates from May of 1954, this is a ten cent book, MARVEL TALES Volume 1 #123 featuring 'The Vampires Victim' x Mannie Banks, 'George' by Louis Davielli, 'Defense Witness' and 'No Way Out' x Vic Carrabotta. Pre-code. Wonderful cover with bright colors, no creases tears or chips. Overall this is in very nice condition. Published by Atlas/Marvel Comics. Please excuse any glare from the sheen of the covers, these were all shot in natural light, no flash and will hopefully show the true brilliance of the comic and the far better than average condition it is in.

Lawbreakers SUSPENSE STORIES 15 ACID face CDC Classic book with the patently evil acid in the face cover by Dick Giordano! Overall this HTF book is in VERY GOOD PLUS condition w/ only minor faults - MUST SEE PICS! Minor rubs to extremities, tiny stress to tight staples (inside & out), good even gloss to covers, pages creamy to white. There's a faint trace of moisture that touches a bit of the bottom back cover (outside), but has not stained the interior and is hard to pick up on - the most notable affectation is a slight imperceptible wave that can slightly be seen in center staple pic - BUT we have not pressed, this will most likely come out sitting under a dictionary for a while - we have left all our books as found - UNRESTORED! All in all a very presentable copy that's in far better than average condition and increasingly harder to find! Stories in this include 'Bum Steer','Grounds for Murder', 'Face to Face', 'Dead End' (Giordano), 'Acid Test' and the story 'Out of the Frying Pan' (Bulman Alascia). There's also a sinister page on fingerprint removal(looks to be done by John Belf?). Golden AGE ten-cent title published by CDC in November of 1953 - PRE-CODE book! Dell LONE RANGER 17 F/VF 1949 Chief back! Published by Dell in 1949 this is THE LONE RANGER Vol.1 #17 and it is in FINE to VERY FINE condition - MUST SEE PICS! Far better than average, the covers are bright, color rich, original sheen and UNCREASED! Very nice! Trace of tone around the edges, but overall pages are creamy to white (photos were taken in daylight with no flash or corrections). Tiny pen mark to upper right hand corner of cover (hard to see & on all the ones from this same collection) doesn't seem to be too distracting - feel free to e-mail for close-ups or any of the pictures you see here - ALL were taken in high resolution in daylight with no flash or corrections and we will be more than happy to send you the original big files for what you need to get a better look at - we're always happy to accomodate and will even image something you need even if you don't see it here! Book features a 'Young Hawk' story and a wonderful 'Chief' back of 'Chief Bearspaw - Stoney Tribe - Calgary, Canada' - very majestic and colorful. Lone Ranger 19 DELL 1950 F/VF Chief back VHTF This 1950 LONE RANGER comic was published by Dell (Western Publishing) as #19 (Volume 1) and is in FINE to VERY FINE condition - MUST SEE PICS! Small 'm' inside E in LONE - also shows up on the other books that came from this collection, but doesn't distract, bleed or necessarily interfere with the wonderfully active, bright action-packed cover graphics - great colors!. Covers are uncreased and don't seem have have been handled excessively - l@@k at the last pic; above Lone Ranger's hat & elbow, there is a bit of thumbing or perhaps just a little light rub, but otherwise covers are gorgeous! Original sheen on covers with to white pages. Un-oxidized staples are tight inside and out - nicely centered! UNRESTORED! Book is free of tears, stains, creases - very nice! Dell LONE RANGER 26 1950 WARRIOR back F/VF This is LONE RANGER Volume 1 #26 was published by Dell (Western Publishing & Litho Co.) in August of 1950 and is in FINE to VERY FINE condition - MUST SEE PICS! This book is far better shape than commonly found, I grade hard so please read my feedback. This book has NO creases to covers (or inside either), bright rich brilliant colors, pages creamy to white - there's a very slight roll to spine of this 52 page (thick!) book, but not that noticeable - all in all a very nice copy of a low number VINTAGE LONE RANGER from 1950! Increasingly harder to find thusly. UNRESTORED as are all the books we sell - not that it needs it either, a great copy. Un-oxidized staples are pretty well centered and TIGHT inside and out! Book retains a super amount of original gloss/sheen - only has a tiny pen mark to the upper right hand corner of the cover (unobtrusive & definitely not distracting). There are NO stains, tears or creases - rather exemplary for a book of this age.
