Russel Wright Iroquois div veg MINT casserole An open stock item with a later mark (#7 in Ann Kerr's magnificent 'Collector's Encyclopedia of Russel Wright' 2nd Editionp.28) this is a very heavy divided casserole glazed in gloss bright white, but always soft in appearance because of Wright's naturalistic approach to design - MUST SEE PICS! Measures ten inches across, perhaps part of its heaviness is in the idea that it could go from the oven to the counter to the fridge with little delay and not explode like most things would - a heavy china that was made to be durable and strikingly similar to the cookware that was release contemporaneously. Two built-in handles made for easy handling (thank heavens it weighs... weight coming). Casserole, divided vegetable bowl, it's versatile and would serve many a purpose in your modern table setting.
