Came from the estate of a former White House employee who had some very unusual Red Wing and other pottery items. HALL LG white cov/refrig Montgomery Ward's This is the harder to find large refrigerator dish made by HALL CHINA for Montgomery Ward's department stores - MUST SEE PICS! This covered tab handled dish is in EXCELLENT near MINT condition w/ NO seen chips, cracks or scratches - SPLENDID! Dates to the early 1940s. Measures 8.5 inches wide, 5 deep and stands 5.25 inches tall with cover on. Can be seen in the Whitmyer COLLECTOR'S ENCYCLOPEDIA OF HALL CHINA Second Edition p.190-1 (1997). Hall Mongomery Ward LG white dish LID This lid was made by the HALL CHINA CO. for Montgomery Ward and is for the large WHITE refrigerator dish - MUST SEE PICS! EXCELLENT condition w/ NO chips, cracks or dings - a few faint abrasions to one corner, but very hard to see and don't detract at all. This lid is also for the biggest one they made for Montgomery Ward & Co. and measures 8.75 inches long and is 5.25 inches deep.
