Michael Crichton TERMINAL MAN 1st 72 NF/NF DJ !
This is one of the nicest copies of Michael Crichton's third book THE TERMINAL MAN we've had - MUST SEE PICS! This First Edition is in NEAR FINE condition* bound in saffron cloth with illus. paper covered board. Comes in a like unclipped CRISP dust jacket. One tiny .25 inch closed tear to the top of the back panel, but hard to see in the acid free protective cover we put on the DJ for safe handling and preservation. Previous owner label (small) to blank page before half-title, after ffep. Book features illustrated endpapers, 247 numbered pages with a few following that are unpaginated 'About Author' and such. Like many of Crichton's novels, this one was also made into a movie - Terminal Man starred George Segal. A very nice 1st edition copy you won't soon upgrade from! FIRST EDITION published in 1969 by Putnam this is a VERY GOOD PLUS condition blue cloth bound book in an unclipped VERY GOOD PLUS condition dust jacket - MUST SEE PICS! THE US OR THEM WAR: A NOVEL OF ESPIONAGE by William Garner features Cold War construct high drama spy novel. There's a little wear to the dj spine head & foot (no tears) and the gilt's a little dulled on cloth spine, but all in all a really nice copy that's tight, square, unbumped and fit to put on the shelf or pull out & read. More Gilt-Edged Bonds Ian Fleming 1st bc?
This is a stated First Printing from 1965, but also has a debossed mark to back cover, so unsure if it's a true first or a Book Club they forgot to take the FP notice off. Jacket and book are in VERY GOOD condition - dj is price clipped and book missing front-free endpaper, but otherwise in very nice condition bound in black cloth with titling in gold to spine.
