Ruth Krauss Maurice Sendak SOMEBODY ELSE'S NUT TREE 1st
Published in 1958 by Harper & Brothers, NY, this is a lovely FIRST EDITION copy of SOMEBODY ELSE'S NUT TREE and OTHER TALES FROM CHILDREN written by Ruth Krauss and illustrated by Maurice Sendak - MUST SEE PICS! Book also comes with its original matching dust jacket, bottom of front flap clipped, but $2 price is still intact. With illustrated red paper covered boards and a thin black cloth spine, this book is in VERY GOOD condition with just a little light wear to tips & shelf wear to bottom - rather typical for this title. Dust jacket is also in VERY GOOD condition. There's a trace of previous cellotape @ bottom of front panel (very hard to see from front), a few short closed tears, yet overall this jacket is in very nice displayable shape that is VERY HARD TO FIND as such. [Comes in non-adhered acid-free protective cover.] Krauss and Sendak also did A HOLE IS TO DIG together, a classic children's book. Sendak is WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE, another superb kids' book that's become timeless through time. FREE SHIPPING in the USA! Feel free to e-mail with any questions or requests for additional pictures.
