Gibson Girl bowl LIMOGES GOLD VG cond NR
This is an interesting bowl or shallow tureen that features a beautiful Charles Dana Gibson girl in the bottom - LOOK AT PICS! Although backstamp (LIMOGES CHINA) is hard to make out, it seems this piece was made by the American company from Sebring, Ohio, who had a massive output of semi-porcelain china in the early 20th Century. Would also guess this decorative bowl/tureen dates to 1910-1920s. VERY GOOD condition with NO chips or scratches, but does have a small hairline that pretty much only shows on back and measures 3/8ths of an inch - not a big deall but we try to be as accurate as we can. There's a wreath of gold glazed garland that circles Gibson Girl @ center and edges are lightly patted with same original gold finish. Figure at center does have a few scratches - the two to her cheek are 1/4th of an inch each. Walls of bowl are done in a rich soft lemony yellow. Bowl measures 8-1/4th inches in diameter and stands ove an inch and half deep. FREE SHIPPING IN THE USA! Feel free to e-mail with any questions and THANKS FOR LOOKING!

1959 N.C. Wyeth Farmer Corn FR Picture & Mag. Cover
The colors of this signed N.C.Wyeth print are beautiful with their muted tones of browns & golds. The original shiny gold wooden frame has a small metal plaque at the bottom that reads: Awarded for outstanding sales achievement 1959 - 1960. The framed print was probably given to the top corn salesman for that year. The print is 18 x 19 inches. Overall size with the frame is 19.5 x 10.75 inches. Included with the frame is a magazine cover from the Country Gentleman from 1944 with the same cover as the print. STORY of ROLAND Peter Hurd ils James Baldwin VG OLDER
This is a VERY GOOD copy of THE STORY OF ROLAND by James Baldwin and illustrated by Peter Hurd - MUST SEE PICS! Last copyright date is 1930, published by Scribners in a slightly larger format - 7.25 wide by 9.5 tall. Beautiful bright clean unrubbed pastedown illustrated cover - the only faults we could find were a small indent on spine (see corresponding close-up) and a similar type impact on back cover: both about an eighth of an inch - small and hard to see. Other than these minor points this book is in lovely condition with all of its 9 full page color plates intact along with illustrated end papers. Former owner bookplate and 1.50 in pen to front endpapers (see pic), but rear endpapers are clean and bright! Feel free to e-mail w/ any questions and THANKS FOR LOOKING!
