This vintage MINT sample calendar came from the estate of an elderly gentleman who was a salesman for a number of calendar companies in the 1920's through the 1940's. MUST SEE PICS! This one is LITTLE LADY CHARMING by JULES ERBIT from the Kemper Thomas Company - Cinn. Ohio. BIG format - measures 13.5 X 23.5 overall with the print size being 10 X 13. "During the 1930s-40s, Jules Erbit's pastel pin-up and glamour subjects featured wholesome, all-American girls attired in conservative clothing.

True examples of the girl-next-door, these sedate beauties lacked the strong sex appeal that marked the creations of so many of his contemporaries. Erbit worked exclusively in pastel on heavy board - he retired from the pin-up and glamour art business about 1950 to focus instead on portraiture and his family," from THE GREAT AMERICAN PIN-UP by Martignette and Meisell, p. 230.
