This magazine gives the history of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses, the Rose Parade, held every New Year's Day, from its conception in 1889 to 1939. One of the first floats is shown on page one. Some of the prize winners from each year, beginning in 1927, are shown in color, one to a page. Although Shirley Temple was the Grand Marshal of the parade in 1939, she is not mentioned or pictured in this magazine.
