Each book has amusing drawings and captions by Bob Dole. Each is designed as a Hallmark hard cover Greeting Card book. The Cheer Book is to cheer up someone in the hospital. The Birthday book for a birthday, The Holiday Book has stories for New Year's, Valentines, April Fool, Easter Bunny and Fourth of July. The Friendship Book has amusing stories.
There is some rubbing on the corners, and horizontal streaks, especially on the Friendship Book. The Holiday Book has two small tears in the center of the front fly. There is no writing in any of them.
