It is written for children to read, but the adults can learn from it, too. It has lots of photographs of della Robia's sculptures, and some line drawings by Mamour Funai.
Published by Lothrop, Lee & Shepard Co., 1968, first edition. Hard back, with dust jacket protected with a mylar cover. Ex-Library, with envelope on front fly, stamps inside back, and stains inside front and back covers where the mylar cover was taped to the book. Sturdy Library Edition binding. Other than the library marks, the book is in very good condition.
