In 1509 the King of Spain sent two expeditions to explore the New World and both ended in disaster. A debtor stow-away, Balboa, rallied the survivors and became the first European to explore the American Mainland.

Ex-library, with markings inside front and back. Front free fly is missing. Cover edges and corners are worn. A small nick in the bottom edge of one page, a couple of stray pen marks, but overall the text is clean and readable. A great help for the home schooler.
