Richfield Christmas Carols
The inside of the front cover, of this nice little piece of both Christmas and, mid - twentieth century petroliana, advertising ephemera, states: Since angels first sang of peace on earth, many happy sounds have been associated with Christmas. Some, such as the carols your Richfield dealer brings you here, continue to uplift our hearts. . . . Some of the traditional sounds of Christmas are illustrated on these pages with authentic Nineteenth Century drawings, typically colored and faithfully reproduced. The illustration on the covers is a portion of an early engraving from the painting by Theodor Mintrop, 'The Angel Serenade.'
