Cottage Ware Basket by Stevens & Williams. Circa late 1880's. Triple cased with crystal applied thorn handle. Multi-colored. It is all hand made with a large polished pontil. It is 7" x 5" across at the top. It is 6" tall to the top of the handle. No damage.

This is a fabulous English basket. The colors are extraordinarily beautiful. There are too many to count. The basket is perfect. This basket was made by one of the English Glass Houses of Stourbridge, England in the latter part of the 19c. The basket is triple cased with a white interior. The bottom part of the basket, everything but the handle and crimping part has a criss-cross pattern to the glass. The crimping is done by hand using a special tool. The handle is the best part. Thorned, multiple thorns and sharp to touch. Almost 7" to the top of the handle. The basket is 5" square. Absolutely a stunning piece. Also has a large ground pontil.

Twisted Thorned Handle Art Basket by Stevens & Williams. Triple cased glass. The basket is hand blown with polished pontil. The applied crystal twisted thorned handle is all in tact as is the basket itself. Multiple crimping on the top edges and the basket is in the shape of a triangle. 7" tall to the top of the handle. The top measures 6" to each corner.

Victorian Mica basket with upside down "V" handle. All hand blown with pontil scar. The basket itself is a blue/green with multiple ruffle edge crimpings. It has the incorporation of gold flakes into the glass. Extremely attractive and makes a great shelf item. No damage. 5 1/4" tall and 4 1/4 x 3 3/4" wide.

Outstanding Stevens & Williams Adventurine Basket that is multi-colored with the incorporation of silver flakes. it is triple cased, with a white milk glass lining. The victorian ribbed handle come to a twist at the top. There is no damage. It is hand blown with a very sharp pontil mark. The top is pinched and slightly crimped. 7 1/2" tall.

Vasa Murrhina Art Glass Basket. Vasa Murrhina is named because of the silver metalic flakes that are incorporated into the glass. This basket is highly attractive because of the extremely bright pastel colors: Pink, yellow, blue, reddish brown, green, etc. This basket is English in origin. Hand blown with pontil scar. It is triple cased with a milk white interior. Crystal applied reverse V handle. The top is crimped and flared in and out. Perfect condition. It is 8 inches to the top of the hand. 5 inches across at the top.
