| Loetz Vase with Four Twisted Emerald Green Circular Handle. 6" tall. It has a flattened rim above a cylindrical body. The crackling is intense and extremely fine. Polished pontil. This piece is circa 1900. Extremely rare and probably a one-of a kind piece. No damage whatsoever. IT IS UNSIGNED. A very similar and comparable piece of loetz is pictured on page 90 of the "American & European Decorative & Art Glass" by Kyle Husfloen. Both my piece and the book's piece are unsigned, same flaring top. Mine does not have four colums, but circular handles instead. The book's piece is not crackled like mine. The book price for this particular piece is $11,5000. I am not asking no where near that price. |
