1863 Civil War Token. One side of the Token says W.K. Lanfhear Cincinnati, O. Manufacturers of Metalic Cards. Other side says The Army & Navy with a Shield and "Union" across it. Bottom has a date of 1863. Token is in very good condition with exception to little wear around the edge just below the "at" in Cincinatti. 1899 Claybourne Burner Co Chicago Ill Catalog
Early Catalog for the Claybourne Burner Co., Chicago, Ill. Catalog has a total of 24 pages. Literature and diagrams on different Claybourne Burners. Discusses How to Install Them, the Advantages of Using a Claybourne Burner, Listing of Rules to be Observed in Operating Claybourne Burners, Letters of Recommendation, etc.etc. Also lists those Gas Companies whose lines currently use Claybourne Burners and Large Plants Equipped with Claybourne Burners. What makes this Catalog even more interesting is that it has it’s original letter that was sent from the Company to a Distributor It is postmarked Apr. 13,1899. Inside of it is a couple Company letter heads along with a price list discount sheet. Also included is a sheet show a few of the various Claybourne Burners. Catalog measures about 9 ½” x 6” and for it’s age I believe it is in very good condition. One of the first pages is soiled some probably as a result of the letter sitting inside the Catalog for many years. Would make a nice addition to any Vintage Catalog collection. Early Easy Washer Advertisement Banners
Pair of Large Paper Banners advertising the Two Tub New Easy Washer. The first Banner measures roughly 40" x 13" and has nice color. Also included is (5) Triangular Leaflets describing advantages to using this Easy Washer. Each side of these Triangles measure about 14 1/2". The second Banner measures about 50" x 19". Says you Can Purchase an Easy Washer for only $69.50. Only $5 Down and $1.50 a Week. Not really sure when the Easy Washer came out but I would guess somewhere around 40's, maybe even earlier I just don't know. All pieces are in fairly good condition. Pieces were folded up for years so they could be pressed off some if they are displayed but I will leave this up to the new owner. Great for anyone who collects vintage Washer Advertisements. 1930s Gainaday Washer Litho Window Trim Sign
Litho Window Trim Display for the New Gainaday Electric Washer made by the Gainaday Electric Co. Pittsburgh, Pa. I'm just guessing but I believe this advertising piece dates somewhere around the 1930's to 40's. It measures 70" x 48". As shown and explained on the original envelope each piece is to be displayed in the corners of the window and the Washer is suppose to be displayed in the center of the store front to promote the item. The Litho pieces do have a few small tears (mainly on the edges where the sheets have been folded) that have been taped and also small sections along the bottom have tattered edges. Edges around the entire envelope have been taped as well. Bottom two pieces say Litho in U.S.A. Einson-Freeman Co.,Inc. NY Would make a nice addition to any Old Litho Advertisement collection. Diamond Burner Pittsburgh Gas Grate Catalog
Early Catalog from the Diamond Burner Co. in Pittsburgh, Pa. Company manufactured Gas Grates for Fire Places as well as Economical Appliances for Ranges, Laundry and Furnace Purposes. It was located at 441 Grant St. opposite the Court House. Total of 23 pages to this Catalog. Catalog is not dated but I believe it dates around the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. It was recently acquired at an estate with some others which were dated from this era. Overall condition is very good. First page does have some minor creasing and what appears to be a line of some kind of residue across the upper left corner. Catalog measures about 6 ½” x 10. 1924 Light Fixture Lightolier Sales Book Cata
Super Sales Book Catalog from the Lightolier Company 569 Broadway, New York, N.Y. What a wonderful book showing Vintage Light Fixtures. Book has a total of 112 pages with many nice color photos as well as black & white photos. This is copy number 363 and was presented to the Wm. Hare’s Son Co. It’s from the year 1924. Several different styles of chandeliers and sconce Light Fixtures are shown. A very detailed catalog and much better then I describe. Rear of the Book lists all the leading Hotels using Lightolier products. Also shows view of the Company Building and workers in the various departments. I would consider this Book to be in very good condition. Just a little soilage on the outter edges of the pages from when it was looked through. Chicago Sample Book No.88 Catalog has a total of 28 pages. Probably dates around the early 1910's. Shows various styles of suits for Young Men and the different types of garment material used. Also has some nice colored photos of children. Unfortunately about 1/4 of the binding to the Catalog is severely frayed. Despite this, Catalog for the most part remains intact. Brochure comes with it's original mailer and some other paperwork with regards to the Professional Retouching service that the company offers. Brochure has a total of 19 pages. Explains opportunities and advantages for choosing to go through this procedure. Also show some photos of Before/After appearances. Along with it's original mailing envelope Brochure also comes with the Business Envelope to send back to them, a sheet with testimonials of previous customers, an enrollment application(procedure cost $60)which is ink stamp dated Oct. 27, 1927 and a business letter sent from the company to the prospective customer. All the paperwork is in very good condition almost like it was sent about 80 years ago. Great for anyone with interest in Vintage literature about Health, Beauty or Cosmetology.
