Early Easy Washer Advertisement Banners
Pair of Large Paper Banners advertising the Two Tub New Easy Washer. The first Banner measures roughly 40" x 13" and has nice color. Also included is (5) Triangular Leaflets describing advantages to using this Easy Washer. Each side of these Triangles measure about 14 1/2". The second Banner measures about 50" x 19". Says you Can Purchase an Easy Washer for only $69.50. Only $5 Down and $1.50 a Week. Not really sure when the Easy Washer came out but I would guess somewhere around 40's, maybe even earlier I just don't know. All pieces are in fairly good condition. Pieces were folded up for years so they could be pressed off some if they are displayed but I will leave this up to the new owner. Great for anyone who collects vintage Washer Advertisements. Diamond Burner Pittsburgh Gas Grate Catalog
Early Catalog from the Diamond Burner Co. in Pittsburgh, Pa. Company manufactured Gas Grates for Fire Places as well as Economical Appliances for Ranges, Laundry and Furnace Purposes. It was located at 441 Grant St. opposite the Court House. Total of 23 pages to this Catalog. Catalog is not dated but I believe it dates around the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. It was recently acquired at an estate with some others which were dated from this era. Overall condition is very good. First page does have some minor creasing and what appears to be a line of some kind of residue across the upper left corner. Catalog measures about 6 ½” x 10. Front of the Catalog shows Robert Kellogg with a testimonial of many pleased customers. Inside back cover has an index of the items you can find in Catalog there is also an order sheet. 1909-10 Fall/Winter Catlog from the The Clement Co. 337-39 Franklin St. Chicago Illinois. Catalog has a total of 24 pages. Features different styles of suits and samples of the various garment material which is used. Predominantly suits but the last couple pages feature Rain Coats. Some very light wear to the edges of a few of the pages but overall condition I would consider good/very good especially for a Catalog from this era. Great for anyone who collects vintage Catalogs. Offered is an Early Spring & Summer Clothes Catalog for Young Men, Boys & Little Fellows from the Sears, Roebuck and Co. Chicago Sample Book No.88 Catalog has a total of 28 pages. Probably dates around the early 1910's. Shows various styles of suits for Young Men and the different types of garment material used. Also has some nice colored photos of children. Unfortunately about 1/4 of the binding to the Catalog is severely frayed. Despite this, Catalog for the most part remains intact. Front & Back cover are a little loose at the bottom edge but other pages remain together. Despite this a great early Catalog to add to any vintage collection. Buyer to pay shipping. Early Hoopes Bro. & Thomas Hand Book of Beautiful Flowers from West Chester, Pa from the year 1880. A very interesting Book. Total of 81 pages. Actually is a Hand Book on Green House and Bedding Plants embracing descriptions of the most popular plants grown under Glass for various purposes. Inside cover page has a index of the various plants and back inside cover page has a testimonial. Front and back cover of the Book are soiled some especially the back cover. Cover also has some wear including a small tear on the edge going through but pages inside are fine. Great for a florist or anyone who collects vintage Seed or Flower Catalogs. Buyer to pay shipping. Interesting Brochure from the Artcraft Studios, Inc. Chicago. Brochure comes with it's original mailer and some other paperwork with regards to the Professional Retouching service that the company offers. Brochure has a total of 19 pages. Explains opportunities and advantages for choosing to go through this procedure. Also show some photos of Before/After appearances. Along with it's original mailing envelope Brochure also comes with the Business Envelope to send back to them, a sheet with testimonials of previous customers, an enrollment application(procedure cost $60)which is ink stamp dated Oct. 27, 1927 and a business letter sent from the company to the prospective customer. All the paperwork is in very good condition almost like it was sent about 80 years ago. Great for anyone with interest in Vintage literature about Health, Beauty or Cosmetology. English George Horner Good Sweets Candy Tin Nice little Advertisement Tin for "Good Sweets" Candy. Manufactured by George W. Horner & Co. Ltd. Makers of Good Sweets. Chester-Le-Street County of Durham England. Lid shows an image of a young lady all dressed up with her dog on leash. I would guess Tin probably dates around the 1940's to 50's Measures 6 1/2" in length and about 4" at it's widest point. Some light wear(scratching) but overall good/very good condition.
