1935 DIAMOND STARS HOF BILL TERRY NY GIANTS Here is your opportunity to purchase a 1935 Diamond Stars Bill Terry Trading Card. In case you may not know Hall of Famer Bill Terry played 14 seasons (1923 to 1936) with the New York Giants and managed the New York Giants as well. In 14 seasons he compiled 2,193 hits, 1,078 RBI'S and a batting average of .341 He was a 3-time All-Star. As a Manager he had a total of 823 Wins, won one World Series and two National League Pennants. Concerning condition of the Card: There is some obvious wear from over the years. The Corners show some rounding and some wear to the Card's edges. As far as I can see there is no creases. All in all I would say at best the condition of this hard to find Card is good to fair at best but will definitely be sold "as is" . The back of the Card says Diamond Stars, NO. 14, gives a brief run down about Bill Terry as a ball player and personally, and then at the bottom says One of 240 Major League Playing Tips: 1935 National Chicle Co., Cambridge, Mass. U.S.A. Would be excellent for a someone in need of this Card for the Set, a Fan of Bill Terry or simply a fan of the New York Giants. Buyer to pay shipping. Please view my other 1935 Diamond Star Trading Card of Terry's teammate and Hall of Famer Carl Hubbell.

Concerning condition of the Card: There is some obvious wear from over the years. The Corners show some rounding and although it may not appear in the photo there is some light creasing in a few spots that go across the entire card. There is also a slight crease across the lower left portion of the Card. All in all I would say at best the condition of this hard to find Card is good to fair at best and will definitely be sold "as is" . The back of the Card says Diamond Stars, NO. 39, gives a brief run down about Carl Hubbell as a ball player and personally, and then at the bottom says One of 240 Major League Playing Tips: 1935 National Chicle Co., Cambridge, Mass. FERRY V. B'PORT FOOTBALL PROGRAM-LOU GROZA Friday, September 26th 1941 Football Program for the Game between the Martins Ferry and Bridgeport. Cover shows a photo of Bridgeport Coach Kenneth Douds. Inside the Program has many local advertisements and the probable starting line-ups for both teams. Also lists others associated with both teams and the game(i.e. subs, coaches, managers, cheerleaders, refs, etc.) What makes this program also special is that fact the former Cleveland Brown and Hall of Famer Lou Groza was part of the Martins Ferry Purple Rider team. Was Captain of the team, played Left Tackle and weighed 204. The program is in very good condition with exception to the score written on the Line-Up page. Martins Ferry won the game 41-0. base19

(6) Unused 1965 World Series Tickets--Pirates Offered is a unique set of (6) 1965 World Series Tickets. What makes them kind of different is that they were distributed for the Pittsburgh Pirates probably prior to the ‘65 Series in hopes that they were going to make it to the Series. Back of the Tickets say- We Missed in “65”…Hope We Make it in “66”. See You at the Opener!…Forbes Field…Friday(1:35 p.m.) April 15, 1966. Pittsburgh vs. St. Louis One ticket does have a diagonal crease across the left portion of the Ticket but all other Tickets are in super excellent condition. Just like they were issued some 45 years ago. Would make an outstanding addition to any Baseball memorabilia collection. Buyer to pay shipping.

base28

Early 1900’s Football Team Photo Early 1900’s Football Team Photo. I believe it's a High School Football Team from around the Grafton, West Virginia area. Could possibly even be a photo of the Grafton High School team but I’m not 100% certain. This and the Baseball Team Photo offered came from the same estate near the Washington, Pa area. The back of the frame on the Baseball Photo has a label that says Skelley’s Gift Shop Grafton, W.Va. Photo shows players and coach of team and a few helmets on the ground. Also is a Football in the center with the year 1919. Frame measures about 14” x 12” and the picture itself measures 9 1/2” x 7 1/2”. Top right edge of the wood frame has a small piece of wood missing and there's a split in the wood. A nice early photo that would make a great display on a wall with other Sports memorabilia. Buyer to pay shipping. Please be sure to also view an early Baseball Team Photo that I’m also offering.

Pr. of Early 1970's Winston 500 NASCAR Progra Pair of early 1970's Winston 500 NASCAR Racing Programs. Programs are for the 2nd and 6th Annual Races held at Alabama International Motor Speedway in Talladega, Alabama on 5/7/72 and 5/2/76 respectively. Programs have a lot of interesting info (race results, speed charts, etc.) and photos pertaining to NASCAR Racing during this time period. Many nice photos (some colored) and advertisements. Looks like they each have about 100 pages or so in them. Programs show a little wear but are still in fairly good condition. Inside page at the front and back of the 2nd Annual was neatly taped to the inner portion of the binding edge. First inside page of the other Annual was also taped. It's the sheet that gives the starting lineup for the race. Great for a collector of Early NASCAR Racing Programs. Buyer to pay shipping.

Vintage Little League Baseball Nodder Bank

Little League Baseball Ceramic Nodder Bank. I'm guessing this piece dates somewhere around the late 1960's. Nodder is a bit larger then most measuring an impressive 9" in height. He has nice color and detail. The top of his Hat says Little League. The bottom of the Nodder Bank has a Japan sticker. Nodder is in very good condition with just the slightest hairline located at the bottom base of the head directly below his left ear and runs upward at an angle. It measures about 1 1/2". It is very faint and hard to detect but is noticable upon close inspect. Other then this a very nice Nodder Bank that I'm sure would make a fine addition to one's collection. Buyer to pay shipping & insurance.

1923 Football Team Photo w/African Americans

Early Football Team Photo from the year 1923. Ball in the center of the photo has the initials BHS 1923. The initials BHS lead me to believe this is a high school team but I'm not 100% certain. Photo was acquired from an estate from the Western Pennsylvania area. What makes this Photo more unusal then the norm is it shows (3) African-Americans players which I don't believe is often seen for a Photo this early. Players sitting across the front row all have their Helmets in lap. Entire mat measures about 14 x 12" and the photo itself measures about 9 1/2 x 7 1/2". As you can probably see the mat has corner wear and there's about a 3 1/2" crease that extends near the left top edge towards the center. The Photo itself is in good condition. Would make a fine addition to any Early Football Photo collection. Buyer to pay shipping.
