21st All-American Soap Box Derby Helmet/Cap. I would place this to date somewhere around the early 1950's. Not sure if this Helmet was just for an ordinary contestant or for the Champion from the previous year. In a banner across the decal it says City Champion. So I'm uncertain who this may have actually belonged to. Helmet has the felt strap that runs over the top. There is some edge wear and a few minor scuffs but overall condition is still good/very good. Underside of the Helmet measures about 8" x 9 1/2". Would make a nice addition to any Vintage Soap Box Derby collection. Buyer to pay shipping.
