Nice early piece of Sewer Tile depicting a Lion Laying on a Rectangular Base. Measurements are roughly 10 1/2" x 5" x 7". Piece probably dates around the late 1800's to very early 1900's. Finely detailed with a hollow interior underside as shown in the photos. Overall condition of this piece is very good. There is a couple very small nicks particularly near the left and right sides of his ears. There is also one located at the rear of his right hip. I believe the photos show this but if additional photos are needed or if you have any other questions please be sure to ask well in advance prior to the close of the auction. A wondeful piece of early Americana that would go great with your Sewer Tile or Lion collection. Buyer to pay shipping & insurance.
