Offered is a collection of Individual Football Photos. From a previous photo that I owned from the same estate, I'm able to identify him Joseph Poilek--Jeanette, Pa,. The two photos on each end are photos of him as a West Virginia Mountaineer and the one in the center is a photo of him as a member of the Pittsburgh Americans who were part of one of the original American Football Leagues. The league only lasted 2 seasons 1936-37 and consisted of 8 teams (Boston Shamrocks, Brooklyn/Rochester Tigers, Cleveland Rams, New York Yankees, Syracuse/Rochester Bears, Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Bulldogs.) Bottom of photo says Pittsburgh American Professionals "Amerks" 36. The two framed photos are close to the same size with the larger one measuring about 10 x 12". The other photo measures 9 3/4 x 4". Impressed on the bottom right corner edge says Gibson Studio Morgantown, W.Va. Photos would make an outstanding addition to any Vintage Football collection. Buyer to pay shipping & insurance.
