| Offered is an early Zippo Lighter featuring Singer Sewing emblem on the one side. For those of you who collect or deal with Singer Sewing Machines, the marking is sort of like a few of the Featherweights commemorating 100 years of Service. Says Over a Century of Sewing Service. 1851 Singer Sewing Machines. Lighter has the early Zippo marking as shown in the photo as does the insert. There is a little wear to the casing and some of the lettering, but I'm really not sure if the Lighter was even used. The wick is a clean white. Striking wheel spins freely so a new flint will probably be needed. Also need to mention a couple areas of red paint around the outside edge of of the center "S". Lighter would make a great addition to any Zippo or Singer Sewing Machine collection. Buyer to shipping & insurance. |
