Very nice little 3-Handled Mug from the 26th Convention of the H.M.M.B.A. held in Atlantic City in 1905. H.M.M.B.A. stands for Hotel Men's Mutual Benefit Association. I believe this was a company which dealt in Banking or Insurance. It was later merger with a couple other Companies to form Bankers LIfe & Casualty Co. This porcelain Mug measures about 2 1/4" in height and is excellent condition. Underside is marked Syracuse China Burley & Co. Chicago. Excellent condition with no damage. Great piece for anyone known to have ties to the H.M.M.B.A. or perhaps even the Bankers Life & Casualty Co. Buyer to pay $4.50 for shipping plus insurance. |
