Offered is what I believe to be a nice piece of Military history from the 1st World War Era. Inside Pants label indentifies the Soldier and indicates he was a Lieutenant in rank. I'm assuming this Uniform was worn on the day of Sept. 5, 1919 welcoming him along with fellow comrades back from the War. There is a tag that is attached to his right chest pocket that says 1919 Welcome Home Westfield Sept. 5. Also located in his left front Coat pocket is an Official Program that reads HONOR DAY to the Men in the Military and Naval Service of the United States from Division No. 2 Chautauqua County Towns of Chautauqua, Clymer, French Creek, Harmony, Mina, Portland, Ripley, Sherman, Stockton, Westfield at Westfield N.Y., Friday Sept 5, 1919. Inside lists all the Events of the Day starting with the Athletic Contests at 10 AM and ending with the Military Ball at 9 PM. Along with the Program is a Service Men Complimentary Dinner Ticket. As for the Uniform itself, overall condition I would consider very good/excellent considering it's almost 90 years old. There is a few tiny moth holes and some spots of staining to the pants as I've tried to show in the photos. The inside of the Jacket has a tag that says American Gentlmen Clothes Made to Measure Kingsbaker & Co. Chicago. U.S. and Gun Pins are located on the collar.

Bar Pins are on each side of the shoulder. All buttons are present. Measures of the Jacket are 29 1/2" from the very top of the collar to bottom Jacket edge. Shoulder to shoulder is 17" and Arm Pit to end of arm is about 16 3/4". As mentioned Pants have a few stain spots and inside has a Tag with Soldier Name and Rank along with some other info (see photo). Crouch to end of pant leg measures about 26" and Waist looks to about 30-32". A nice piece of history for anyone collecting early Military items. If you have any other questions or need additional photos please be sure to ask in advance. Buyer to pay shipping & insurance.
