Fabulous Knit Cotton Floral Bedspread, 1940's
This beautiful, heavy bedspread is in excellent condition with no faults. Looks like it was never used. Purchased from a New Haven, Vermont estate where all of the linens were immaculate. This is pictured on a queen size bed and measures 79 inches by 83 inches. The is a knitted trim that goes around 3 side and part of the 4th side. The color is almost a yellowish ecru. A note that was with the bedspread stated that it was "made by grandmother Blairs patient and then finished by her in the 1940's." The note was lost somehow on the trip home but does date from the 1940's. Weights 7 pounds. Shipping included in cost in the U.S.

Vintage Marseilles Bedspread
Vintage marseilles like bedspread with a nice floral and scalloped design. Measures 76 inches by 82 inches and is pictured on a queen size bed. Condition is very good with the following faults. Two small unraveling spots on the same edge, with one tiny stain that is near the same edge. With a little repair this beautiful spread will give many more years of use.
Measures 82" by 78" and is shown pictured in a queen size bed. This is an antique, white trapunto marseilles, counterpane bedspread. Trapunto is the puffed up areas that enhance the design and pattern of the bedspread. Condition is very good, it has been cleaned and washed. There are 3 small rough areas which are pictured (one of which also has a repair that is not very noticeable unless you are looking for it) and two tiny pin dots of stain, which are barely noticeable. The photos look splotchy but the spread is white and nice and clean. A very function, and beautiful spread. Weighs almost 4 pounds.
