Excellent Lenci-Type 11" Gypsy Girl Doll. Wonderful formed felt face that is so cute with side look eyes. Looks to be hand painted and she has wire loop ear rings. Holding a paper-mache tambourine with silky ribbons. Stuffed cloth body with leather/paper red shoes is in excellent condition. Clothing is very detailed with some moth damage. Her hair is real and very well done. Staple at bottom of dress where original tag was before. She was probably made in the 30's or early 40's. Very adorable doll who needs a new home. She came from the estate of collector who had over 3000 dolls.
