Part of our older collection of purses, this is an A. Giannetti genuine black leather purse. It has a UK patent on the magnet clasp and the cutest little tassel.

It is done in a quilted pattern. It measures 8 inches wide x 7 1/2 inches from top to bottom. Great condition.

Vintage 1950s Lucila Mendez HAT Velvet

This is an elegant evening hat by the famous New York Milliner, Lucila Mendez. This is done in a tan and black design made of velvet strands sewn into a design pattern. It has the original tag. It measures at the band, 21 1/2 inches around.

This style is generally worn atop of your bun or hairstyle or like a tam.

About Lucila: Her hats are high style, finely made, rich fabrics and classic in design for today's high-fashion city woman. They are absolutely perfect for the theatre, travels or dinner at a fine restaurant or dinner club. Lucila Mendez was a theatre costume design of hats as well as for the NY ladies of distinction.
