| Medium Duty Teacups - The Star of the Road - Currier & Ives by Royal China. These are some of the scarcest items of Currier & Ives that I have run across. They are NOT mentioned in Aupperle's guide. What makes these items different is that they are 25% heavier in weight (7.3 oz.) than the regular teacups. I have seen them with and without and incised U.S.A. on them. They are slightly taller and thicker. The handle attachement is quite distinct in that it has an added flair at the bottom attaching point as seen on the left in the comparison image.
