This pin from the 1880's would have been worn by a woman of the working class. It was not just the wealthy in this era that loved it's jewelry but the women who worked in the factorys loved their jewels also. If you like large pins you will adore this! It measures 2 x 4 3/4". The lines are so graceful and the Victorian design is wonderful. The pin is in good condition except that a little of the silver patina has worn off. A new pin back with a safety clasp have been added to this little treasure.
