CURRIER & IVES PRINT "TROTTING CRACKS" AT THE FORGE 1946
<p>Look at this great Currier & Ives color print titled "Trotting Cracks" at the Forge, and dated 1946. It was originally printed in 1869, and this reprint was done by, I. B. Fischer Co., New York City. It was part of an 8 print set, they released in 1946. Of course the picture features Blacksmiths & Ferrier's at work on 3 horses, whose names appear to be, Mountain Boy, Grey Eagle, & Lady Thorn. The overall size of the print is 11" x 14", and the color print measures about 8 1/2" x 12". The colors are bright & crisp.These prints are in excellent condition, and are suitable for framing. Please view my other auctions, for the other 7 prints in this collection. This will make an AWSUM Holiday addition to any Currier & Ives Collection.
