Russian silver personal flatware set with spoon, fork and knife in leather box. Flatware has Russian geometric design. Knife blade is marked FEDOPb BAPbINIbB 1882-1884. Stamped with womans head facing to the right, 84. Maker is HG, in Russian, Hr. Mark in bowl of spoon HW or MH. This was a gift to the Dutchess SHAHOVSKIYA on her angel day, or name day. See photo of inscription on side of knife handle. Knife measures 10.5" length, spoon is 8.25", and fork is 8.125". |
