The Mexican Bible Box is approximately 11 1/2 inches long and 7 3.4 inches wide. It has an age crack on the front which can be seen in the photograph. I am not sure what type of wood it is made of (may be mahogany as it is light). I am not sure of the age, although it is old. It was purchased from an estate in Texas.
