Five shell cameos of sailboats on the water in a 7"-long gold-plated bracelet. The volcano in the background of each scene is Mt. Vesuvius in Italy, where the town below the volcano, Terra del Greco, is known for its master cameo carvers. There is no mark; the metal under the gold-plating is probably a base metal such as brass.
Circa 1940.
Condition: Excellent; there are no chips or cracks in the cameos. There is some wear to the plating, especially on the clasp where it turned dark.
