Avon Cape Cod Ruby Red Glassware Fruit or Dessert Bowl . This fruit bowl is a pressed glass pattern reissued by Avon in the Ruby Red Color in 1975 until 1993, 37 pieces were produced. The pattern reminds me of the old Boston and Sandwich glass cape cod pattern. It is a nice heavy glass that would fit well with modern dinnerware styles as well as a complete dinnerware line. Color is nice and dark and will appear almost black on some of the pictures, but it is a deep red. This fruit bowl is 5 1/4 inches x 2 inches and in mint condition. This was part of a collection purchased from an Avon representative that was never used.
