Bronze was used as early as 3000BC and is an alloy of copper and iron. Bronze is more easily melted and cast than copper and less susceptible to corrosion. Statuary bronze may have as little as 10% tin. Bronze has greater detail than brass. A magnet will not stick to bronze.
