Smallest bowl 5" tall 7 1/2" across, middle bowl 6" tall 8 3/4", largest bowl is 6 1/2" tall and 10" across. The largest bowl is the only one with any damage. Below the lip is a 3/4" chip and 2 pin point loss of glaze and one 1/16th inch flaw. The damage is only minimally seen from the top. YellowWare Kitchen Bowl Yellowware kitchen bowl. REDUCED PRICE $88. Yellowware bowl 5 1/2" tall and 10 1/2" across. The wide band produced approx. 1900-1930 I think in Vermont. Shows wear, but overall good condition and color. NO chips NO dings NO hairlines. On one side of the top band there is an "extra" glob of clay that was dried on at time of kiln work. Beneath that there is a 1-2" line that is not a hairline, but more a "dent" done at kilework. Has some age discoloration from use on the base and around the bowl near the base. Mild crazing on the outside. A few worn spots on the rim from beating, smooth. One worn down spot on the base, very smooth to the feel showing age. Wonderful condition, Pinpoint fleck at end/under lip & 1/4" on handle of missing glaze, some crazing, occassional glaze pop, no hairlines, no chips, beautiful caramel and mocha drip glaze. Rockingham Bennington Yellowware Cup Yellowware clay with light caramel spongework creating this great Rockingham coffee mug. Applied handle. NO cracks NO dings NO hairlines. Large mauve stripe 3/4" thick with a thin blue line above and below. Two 1/8th" small missing glaze pops on base rim most likely from the weight of the bowl when filled was "sat down hard." Yellowware Mixing Bowl Large Yellowware bowl with 6 blue stripes. Large American bowl almost 10 1/2" across and a little over 5 1/2" tall. Top band is over 1 1/2" wide with three thin blue stripes, under the band there are 3 blue stripes and scalloped design below. A "splotch" where the cobalt treatment did not take whilemaking stripes is about the size of a quarter. In good condition the bowl shows loving use by Grandma with wear on the top rim NO dings NO chips NO hairlines.There is some discoloration on the interior as was common for heavily used bowls. Minor crazing on the base. On the bottom during the making there is a 1 1/2" kiln mark NOT a hairline and nearby a 1/8th inch piece of missing glaze on the very bottom rim from being put down too heavily. Rockingham Mold Yellowware Unusual yellowware sponged mold used for baking heavy cakes. Sometimes called a turks head mold. American 1850-1890. The color is more mocha and yellowware, not the usual dark dark rockingham glaze. This very small rockingham mold 7 1/4" across and 2 3/4" tall. There are the usual 3 foot marks from the kiln with some missing clay. There are NO chips, NO dings, NO hairlines. There is minor crazing but not even a ding other than kiln mark area. A must have for the collector of yellowware.
