Wood Hand Carved Female Statue
Unusual in that I don't have a clue why this carving has this unusual carved out through the mid section of her body, most prominently on her head. I doubt if anyone carved her in 2 pieces but anything is possible. She is 12" tal and about 3lbs (4 for shipping) She is carrying books in one hand and a satchell in the other. Her nose is fairly flat.
Anyway she's unusual! folk art
