Occupied Japan Wicker Fishing Creel Occupied Japan Fishing Creel made in OCCUPIED JAPAN per paper label. Near MINT condition, LEATHER hinge straps, buckle wicker ring intact. Strap missing easily replaced. 15" across the bottom x 9" tall x5 1/2 in. deep . Circumfrence almost 35" side to side and 28 in. around the creel from top to bottom. On the base a MINT LABEL 2 1/2 " x 1 1/4" with navy border at the top 'INSIST ON THE GENUINE" next two lines to the left of the label the two words are stacked and state "Full Size" then the same spot on the right states "Correct Shape" Below the 1st line is a red logo that would be two triangles base to base and within this red logo also in red states 'BESTMADE' Below this and stacked like lines 2 and 3 would be lines 4 and 5 stacked and state "Selected Material" to the right "Perfect Weave" then there are two drawn lines_________ in the center of the top line states "Reg. US Pat. Off" then there is a Navy colored stamp of two lines the top line overstams the 'Reg US Patt Off' the second stamped line rests on the 2nd drawn line_______ the stamp reads " MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN" "JAPAN 3616/4 15' " This fishing creel has been in our personal collection for years, we have never seen any creel in this MINT condtion and NEVER have we seen one with the paper label documenting MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN! Horrocks Ibbotson Takapart Fishing Reel Fishing reel by Horrocks Ibbotson "Takapart" No. 1866 New York. Unusual red crank handles appear to be bakelite or other type plasticene, end cap is the same red, and the head caps are a copper color. Shows normal use, a few scratches and wear but in overall good condition. Can still be used to catch a big one. Great display piece, seldom see the red, nor the copper color. Hand Crafted Hardwood Fishing Rod Fishing Reel, unique One of a Kind! This rod was hand crafted for it's owner a 6 piece hardwood rod makes 3 different lengths of fishing rods. My guess is the hardwood is mahogany. (The section that is a darker color is the same wood, just stained darker.) One minor flaw, we attempted to show, the shortest section (middle on most of rods) in the narrow end the metal piece is jagged. Flaw won't affect use and can probably be glued down, however we like this "is as from the owner". The wood in this rod is BEAUTIFUL! The metal appears to be brushed silver but I can not be sure. Lengths of each piece approximately : 38 1/2", 38", 36 1/2", 19". 18", the tip is 19 3/4". Glass agate guides, barrell style on the main rod portion, metal encassed barrell. Offset casting on one tip, the other rod tip is a center tip. Tan windings in excellent shape. Can be used for shallow water fishing up to surf rod. Age unknown, could be as late as the 60's but as early as the 40'2. WONDERFULLY UNIQUE. One of a kind.Fishing rods lures reel fishing rods rods  

Montague Hardwood Rod With Reel Montague Rod 70" considered 6' rod & unmarked reel. Hardwood dark in color with red wraps. See photo 3 1/8" wrap lost near tip. Does not deter from appearance. Fishing Rod Eyes are brass as evidenced by light verdis gris. double blade guide. "Single Ring top tip guide" Probably German silver. Unmarked reel black end caps white handle has a "fish" logo on one endcap, star drag, original line. Working rod & reel & rustic decorator look. Fishing rod

The extra tip was provided to if the fish was "too large" and snapped the tip on your first cast, the day wasn't ruined. Cork handle, dark burgandy and black wrappings. Beaten aluminum. Gulf Pineapple Cut Bamboo Rod The windings appear to be original, and are red/yellow/green. Original guides and red agate eyes. Pinepple cut. Signed Gulf. Two piece rod , Tip was glued in place so a small amount of rubbery glue is visible under the tip, can be removed. Lengths are 37 1/4" & 37 1/4" this is important as when tips broke the two pieces gradually became different lengths. The butt cap is "sort of bumpy" but completely intact, no cracks.This rod is in excellent condition. fishing rod  

Heddon 4in Dowagic Crab Wiggler Fishing Lure Heddon 4 in Dowagesic Crab Wiggler Fishing Lure. Patented 1916 wooden lure has seen some action. Original yellow paint has cracks in the paint & some dings. The biggest ding is approximately 1/2inch x 1/8th inch on the bottom between the two hooks! It looks like a really big one that got away after biting the lure. On the collar it is etched Heddon Dowagic.(T1306- E402)Glass Eye. 2 treblers.
