Celluloid Christmas Decoration. Celluloid animals were made by German, Japanese and American companies circa 1915-1940. Placed in putz or Nativity scenes. This ram 4 1/2' long 3 1/4" height is in excellent condition. His color is various shades of grey, nose $ mouth reddish pink. Celluloid is flammable. when listed there were 4 animals on our site.

| Each has the name "Eugene" penciled on the underbelly. Often the only gift given to children during the holidays, this was likely Eugene's way of telling his from other children in the family, |
