Manufacturer: Craftsman unknown Celluloid Christmas Decoration. Celluloid animals were made by German, Japanese and American companies circa 1915- 1940. They were placed in putz or Nativity scenes. This dog is almost 4" long and 2 1/2" in height. and in excellent condition. His colors are reddish tan, tan and a darker brown. Celluloid is flammable. When listed there were 4 animals on our site.

| Each has the name "Eugene" penciled on the underbelly. These were oftn the oly toy gift given to children during the holidays, so this was likely Eugene's way of telling his from the other children in the family. |
