Opposite the cover page is a color print of a young man working in a bookshop.There are four other black and white illustrations. after the cover page it says "Copyright 1929 Published May 1929. The dedication reads " To Commander Edward Ellsberg whose courage and humanitarian work on the illfated submarine s51 and S4 set a standard of accomplishement worthy of the finest expectations of his alma mater "The United States Naval Academy." "Foreward: It is part of the Boy Scout idea that it came to us across the Atlantic on the wings of a Good turn. That story has been told many times.
