Manufacturer: Black American Unknown Folk Artist This cute little girl was likely a carrnival prize. She was purchased in St. Louis Missouri in which one of the countries largest suppliers of carnival prizes was located in the 40's to early 50's. If still available she has a "little" sister also on our site. This big sister is almost 15" tall, baby sister is approximately 10 1/2" tall.

Sun bonnet of the same.available. Each has a red bow around the neck with a :"tuft" of black hair peeking out the front. The face is stiffened like many rag dolls. The body is stuffed and firm but not stiffened like many rag dolls. The body is stuffed and firm but not stiff. Red shoes are sewn on with polka dots on the bottom. They also wear red bloomers.
