If you can show me one set this unique I will donate $50 to the American Red Cross. Most Black Americana rag dolls were generally made either by the children's mothers, or the caretakers of children. These Black American child dolls are dressed in vintage materials, this fabric was from an upper class family. The bodies are a silky fabric. These dolls feature much sought features: thumbs, faces stitched from several fabric creating a delicate face, finely embroidered features, legs & arms attached. These dolls were made with great detail & show a lot of love! They have black yarn hair. This pair of Black American dolls are dressed in a satiny dress with lace insert, his shirt is similar. Her dress has a white lace insert. Both rag dolls wear hand sewn flannel booties. The Black American boy doll He is a wearing underwear & wears a cap, both unusual features.
