Wooden pantry box, called treenware this wooden piece is a highly sought after folk art item. Well made the inside is inscribed by the maker "MADE BY E BIRYE WILTON HH" As shown on the outside is inscribed "DRY 2QT" The measure is 4 1/4" tall and 7 " across the top. The wood is a very fine and smooth patina. This was a well used and loved measure. from Pennsylvania Amish farmland. |
