Black American Bisque Boy & Girl Shelf Sitters. Appears to be bisque or fine porcelain. This boy and girl sitters will sit on a shelf, or a small bench purchased from a craft store. He may have once had a small pole in his hand. The colors are wonderful. Made in Japan stamped on the base, and embossed across their "seats". From their seats to their caps they are almost 4" tall, their legs about 2". There are some paint flaws, a few black marks on her pants, and a rusty color on her shirt, much the color of his shorts and her veil. These may have occured when made. She has on a green necklace & bracelet, that seems unusual to me! She even has a green bracelet on the arm that is behind the boys back! I have a small bench they can sit on. Quality detail.
