Hand painted gilt lining to handle and gilt edge. Made for the retailer Jones McDuffe & Stratton. Approximately 6 inches high. CONDITION: Very Good / Excellent. (small, tight hairline to spout, very light wear to gilt).

Royal Worcester Art Nouveau jeweled demi cabinet c&s. Porcelain. England. c. 1915. The height of Art Nouveau style. The black ground is the perfect backdrop for the stylized trees done in gold. The fruits on these trees are done in coral hand enameled jewels. Gold cup interior, center of saucer well, band at cup foot & handle. Just stunning. CONDITION: Excellent / Near Mint. Royal Worcester blue floral Covered Butter. Vitreous. England. c. 1890. Unusual covered butter dish. Asian influenced blue transfer floral pattern on the plate border, the sides of the attached bowl & on the sides of the lid. The lid has bird feet handle with hand painted detailing. Made of vitreous porcelain (stoneware). Could also be used as a covered side dish. CONDITION: Excellent / Near Mint. A very handsome piece.

Chamberlains Worcester hp Bird Plate. Porcelain. England. c. 1847 - 1850. Gorgeous plate by the Chamberlain company in Worcester. All hand painted. Pale green leaves are oulined in gold. The bird is done in vivid shades of yellow, orange, red, pink, brown, blue & black enamels. Gold scroll work at the edge. Measures approximately 9.5 inches.
Condition: Excellent. All over crazing which does not detract at all. Rare. Just wonderful!

A variety of flowers are delicately painted in pink, periwinkle, purple, burnt orange & yellow with shades of green & brown for the grasses & branches. Hand painted gilt border, edges, ring at cup foot and lining on cup handle. CONDITION: Excellent (wear to the gilt on saucer; cup foot has a flea bite on the bottom which is not really visible ). Really lovely.

Royal Worcester - Flight Period Coffee duo
Royal Worcester - Flight Period (1783-1792) Coffee Cup & Saucer. Porcelain. England. c. 1790. A cobalt & gilt border decorates this early example of the fine wares of this famous factory. Cobalt & gilt circle the saucer well. Thistle emblem in gilt on cup exterior & in center of saucer well. White ground. Molded in swirled scallops. Gilt edges; gilt footline on cup; gilt leaves on cup handle. Over 200 years old! A matching covered sugar bowl w/stand is on display in the Porcelain Galleries of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, England. A trio very similar to this item is shown on p. 47 of Collectible Cups & Saucers Book II by Jim & Susan Harran. CONDITION: Excellent / Near Mint (pings). An early classic.
